About WebSoft
WebTutor Integrated with Microsoft Live @ Edu

WebSoft experts completed integrating the WebTutor Distance Learning System with the Microsoft Live @ Edu service. Now, educational institutions that are WebSoft clients can use all the service capabilities to organize their institution's  information environment as well as communicate between students and teachers.

Integration with the Microsoft service allows for the automatic registration of distance learning users in WebTutor Live @ Edu and transfers them to their personal pages in the Live @ Edu portal.

Microsoft Live @ Edu services that are available to WebTutor users include:

  • Outlook Live provides students with a unique experience using the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, including an on-line version of Microsoft Outlook, 10 GB mailbox, shared calendar and contacts, professional communications and time management capabilities.
  • Windows Live SkyDrive. Allocated protected space of 25 GB to store files. The owner determines access to files and sets up different access rights for users from his/her contact list. Sharing files is more convenient. Students don't need to store a file on a memory card to have it on hand - being in SkyDrive is enough.
  • Windows Live Messenger allows students to interact in real time using the most modern communication technologies. In addition to instant messaging, students can form interactive study groups, collaborate and share files, instantly contact teachers, friends, family and alumni via text, voice and video messaging.
  • With Windows Live Spaces you can create personal web pages, a blog, post photo albums, share images and communicate with colleagues or other users from around the world. The user can modify the look of his/her blog to suit personal taste.
  • Windows Live for mobile phones provides access to Windows Live services from mobile devices, lets you exchange text messages with friends, get news and notices.
